Boxwood and native plants that adorn the garden and flower beds are cultivated by self-management in the nursery and the old kitchen garden of the castle. Vegetable mulch, obtained from the decomposed leaves of the park and plant cuttings and mineral mulch, limits the growth of weeds in the boxwood parterres.
